안전 (Safety) 전자파/무선 (EMC/RF) 에너지효율 (Energy Efficiency)
개요
(Introduction)		 전기용품안전관리법 제5조에 근거하여 안전관리 대상 전기용품을 제조하거나 외국에서 수입하여 대한민국에 판매하고자 할 때 안전성을 검증하는 강제인증 제도이다.

KC Safety is mandatory certification to sell or import the products into Korean market. It is based on Article 5 of the Safety Management of Electrical Appliances Act. 		전파법 제 58조 2에 근거하여 전파환경 및 방송통신망 등에 위해를 줄 수 있는 적합성평가 대상기자재는 적합성평가기준에 적합해야 하고, 적합성평가 표시를 준수해야한다.

The products which falls into this category need to have EMC/RF test. This is regulated by the Article 58 (2) of the Radio Waves Act. 		에너지를 사용하는 기기의 효율향상과 고효율제품의 보급확대를 위하여 산업통상자원부와 한국에너지공단이 추진하여 3대 프로그램으로 운영되고 있다.

The government promote three types of programs to improve the efficiency of energy-consuming equipment and increase the supply of high-efficiency products.
